Project Starion part 3

So as far as progress on Starion project here is what we found on the engine itself.

2600$ head on junk block… oil and coolant leaking from everywhere, why… why…? Oh and exhaust stud (head side) stripped and just holding in hand tight 🙂
Only head was good of the whole engine. The rest junk needing immediate full rebuild.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           3 head studs not torqued to spec, cam seal leaking, head gasket leaking, oil pan leaking, broken studs, under torqued bolts, wrong sealant, leaking gaskets, wow… I am glad first thing I’ve done was to pull engine out. Time for some hot tube, new pistons and rings, bearings, gaskets, seals and more. Don’t worry poor engine you will be fine now…
